Bring out your inner rockstar as Freestyle Games and Activision are about to take all guitarists and guitarists at heart to the real rocker experience with "Guitar Hero Live," the revival of the hit rhythm video game after five years of going MIA.
This fall, "Guitar Hero Live" is out to give everyone a realistic dose on what it is to be a rockstar playing for a huge crowd.
"'Guitar Hero' is a franchise that so many people love. Figuring out how to bring it back with true breakthrough innovation has been years in the making, and a labor of love," Activision Publishing, Inc. CEO Eric Hirshberg said.
He added, "'Guitar Hero Live' lets people rock real crowds with real reactions. Our goal was literally to give people stage fright."
The new "Guitar Hero" is bound to give players a very different yet commendable experience. For one, the first person POV game features real actors instead of the animated band members and audiences seen in its predecessors, New York Daily News has learned.
The official "Guitar Hero Live" trailer already gives a clear vision on how the game would look and feel like when one is playing it.
From the sneak peek, one can see that if he messes up in playing on stage, fans will right away react negatively by waving "You Suck" banners, shouting and screaming "booo"' and even throwing garbage at the player.
On the other hand, the gamer will receive cheers and yells like "I Love You" or hear a very loud applause when he is doing the right thing with the guitar cords.
According to Newsweek, "Guitar Hero Live" will ship with hundreds of songs for players to enjoy.
News about the upcoming "Guitar Hero Live" comes five years after "Guitar Heroes: Warriors of Rock" was released in 2010 and was put on temporary retirement a few months later.
"We wanted to take it back to its roots," Creative Director Jamie Jackson told The Guardian. "We asked ourselves, what is it about Guitar Hero that resonated in the first place?"
