"Revenge" Season 4 Episode 20 - As the season finale approaches, ABC's vengeance-filled series, "Revenge," promises more explosive revelations. And this week, a mysterious villain will wreak havoc in the Hamptons.
Prior to "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 20, Episode 19 gave a glimpse of the unintentional damages Amanda's own retaliation schemes have caused as Victoria uncovered devastating secrets from her past. And as previously reported, last week's episode also showed Louise switching sides after she felt betrayed and deceived when Nolan didn't trust her enough to tell her about Emily/Amanda's true identity.
In line with "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 20, here are 5 shockingly interesting spoilers about ABC's hit vendetta-seeking drama.
1. This week's episode titled, "Burn," Ecumenical News notes that the upcoming episode will be truly action-filled as a mysterious new villain, who aims to kill Victoria and Amanda, appears in the Hamptons.
And as Amanda and Victoria's four-season conflict ignites into a blazing mess of drama, International Business Times reports Victoria is brutally attacked by a mysterious person. The assault leaves her feeling anguish and angry that made her want to retaliate with her enemy. But despite not knowing the identity of her attacker, Victoria quickly blames her nemesis, Amanda.
"Victoria gets proactive about her safety in the wake of being attacked," "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 20 synopsis reads as per TV Guide. "Meanwhile, Emily must accept what her own goal truly is."
2. In one of the promotional clips of "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 20, an explosion in a house is seen.
3. While Amanda is compelled to decide what she really wants, Jack will be taking a break from Amanda, Yibada reports. Based on the promotional photos, Jack is seen at an airstrip with his son Carl and his mother. So, will Jack leave Amanda and the Hamptons for good?
4. Aside from Jack's apparent departure, another interesting but definitely shocking spoiler in the upcoming Episode 21 of the series is Mason Treadwell's resurgence on the show. According to Latin Post, Mason will come back in "The Aftermath," but it's still unclear what will be the effect of his comeback in the remaining episodes of the series.
5. As "Revenge" Season 4 approaches its conclusion, there are some speculations that the vengeance-seeking drama will finally end this season. CarterMatt strongly hints that there will be no season 5, that's why the remaining episodes keep building toward a sense of finality. a fan asked TVLine regarding the possibility for season 5 cancellation, the response seems vague.
"Based on what I'm hearing about the finale, there would have to be a major revamp if the show returns for a fifth season," TVLine's Michael Ausiello answered, as Venture Capital Post quoted. "Actually, forget revamp - there'd have to be a whole new show."
Earlier this month, a photo was published on Twitter suggesting the series' conclusion as Amanda, who's clad in prison clothes, was inside a courtroom. But, Christian Today reveals showrunner Sunil Nayar spoke about the photo in an interview saying the pic simply "means nothing."
"I know that it appears Amanda Clarke is in prison garb in a courtroom, but in regards to this show, it really means nothing," Nayar told TVLine. "It could mean she's been arrested, or it could mean she's undercover, or it could mean she's pulling a play on someone."
Do you think Amanda and Victoria's incessant feud will finally end this season? In the meantime, catch "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 20 this Sunday, April 19, at 10 p.m. on ABC.
