Cissy Houston Net Worth - Ever since reports exploded about Bobbi Kristina Brown's health condition, the Houstons and the Browns have reportedly been fighting over Krissy's $20 million inheritance.
It was once revealed by Celebrity Dirty Laundry that the Browns and the Houston could face an ugly and messy courtroom battle over the bulk of cash left by Krissy's mother, Whitney Houston. So, will Cissy Houston's net worth increase because of Bobbi Kristina Brown's $20 million inheritance when the latter dies?
Last month, Cissy Houston, who has a net worth of $5 million as listed by The Richest, broke her silence and openly talked about Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition, as previously reported. In an interview with WBLS 107.5, a New York radio station, Cissy admitted that her granddaughter's condition seemed forbidding.
"She's the same. [We've] moved her now to a place for rehabilitation," Cissy Houston told WBLS, NBC News quoted. "You know, still not a great deal of hope."
Meanwhile, in mid-March, International Business Times reported Bobbi Kristina Brown was moved to DeKalb Medical facility, a long-term care facility in Atlanta, after spending weeks at the city's Emory University Hospital.
As Bobbi Kristina Brown's life remains in doubt, the fight over her inheritance also remains an issue. However, NVO News reported that Krissy's $20 million inheritance may be untouched since she will not get more than 25 percent until she reaches the age of 30. So, is this a bad news to Cissy Houston and her net worth value?
Cissy Houston, whose net worth is listed as $5 million by Celebrity Net Worth, has been allegedly attempting to convince Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown, to remove the machines. However, it was previously noted that family members have no plans of taking 22-year-old Krissy off life support anytime soon. They also insisted that money is never an issue.
"Bobby is not thinking about the money and never has been," a family source said. "I want to think that Pat and Gary [Houston] aren't thinking about the money either. We all want what's best for Krissy, and that has never changed. It doesn't matter if she has $20 million or $2 in the bank. We love her and want her to recover."
In separate news, although Bobbi Kristina Brown has remained in a state of medically-induced coma and on life support, news widely circulated that Whitney Houston's only daughter is finally awake. The reports came after Bobby Brown made the shocking announcement during a Frankie Beverly concert at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas.
"Bobbi is awake," 46-year-old Bobby Brown told the concert crowd Saturday night. "She's watching me."
Despite Bobby Brown's announcement, it still unconfirmed if Bobbi Kristina is really out of coma. According to People, a source close to the family said that Krissy has yet to wake up.
"As far as I know, there's been no change," the source said, Time quoted. "We're still hoping and praying that God will perform a miracle. We are leaving it in God's hands."
In case Bobbi Kristina Brown dies, do you think her $20 million inheritance will increase Cissy Houston's net worth?
