"Revenge" Season 4 Episode 21 Spoilers - As "Revenge" gets closer to its finale this season, ABC's vengeance-filled series promises more shocking events to unfold in the Hamptons. And last week's episode was indeed a shocker!
Before some interesting spoilers about "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 21, last Sunday's episode titled, "Burn," delivered a shocking revelation - Victoria Grayson's death. As flames engulfed the Grayson Manor, the explosion totally stunned the fans. However, it also sparked speculations that "Revenge" won't be renewed next season.
Even though "Revenge" Season 4 is coming to an end, it continues to bring more exciting episodes as it reaches the finale. And Episode 21 is no exception. As the Hamptons' wicked witch dies, Christian Today shared the incessant feud between Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke and Victoria Grayson reaches another level.
As Victoria apparently attempted to frame her greatest enemy for her violent death, the deadly schemes will affect Amanda in this week's episode. According to TVLine, Amanda and David will search through the burnt house for answers, however, they'll be turned away by the authorities. And aside from the Grayson Manor fire, Amanda will also face Jack Porter's return. But the story behind Jack's reappearance in the series remains undisclosed.
"Victoria's drastic choice has permanent consequences for Emily..." the official synopsis of "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 21 reads, as The Futon Critic quoted. "As Emily sifts through the wreckage of her life, even her closest friends worry she has finally gone too far."
Apart from Jack's comeback in "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 21 titled, "Aftermath," another character will surprisingly return in the Hamptons, as previously reported. In the upcoming episode of the series, Mason Treadwell's resurgence was noted by Latin Post. However, it's still unclear what will be the effect of his comeback in the remaining episodes of the series.
Meanwhile, actress Madeleine Stowe, who plays the role of Victoria, confirmed her on-screen character's demise in "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 21.
"People have different theories about it all, but one thing you need to remember is that Victoria has displayed that she's suicidal," Stowe told TVLine. "There's always been a bit of a death wish in her. She has a history of that, so this shouldn't be a complete surprise."
Furthermore, Stowe told E! News that Victoria will only appear in "flashbacks" in the remaining episodes of "Revenge" Season 4. She also added that she won't be returning in season 5, if ABC decides to renew the drama.
"This is my last season," she said. "I think that it's still up in the air for the rest of the cast members."
As for how Victoria's shocking death will impact Amanda in "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 21 and the finale, Stowe teased it will be "bittersweet."
"I can't give away the ending because I think it's going to be bittersweet, but I can tell you this: these woman are always going to be tied together," she said.
Producer Sunil Nayar has also piqued "Revenge" fans' curiosity by revealing the finale will be heartbreaking, International Business Times reported.
"People will understand exactly where they stand in the finale," Nayar told TVGuide. "We'll really tap into what the world means now that she's Amanda Clark and that he's Jack Porter and ... it's heartbreaking in some ways and really satisfying in others."
So, what will be the effect of Victoria's death? Catch "Revenge" Season 4 Episode 21 this Sunday, April 26, at 10 p.m. on ABC.
