"Suicide Squad" Spoilers - Secrecy is one significant factor in all comic book movies. But thanks to the Internet, it's impossible to stop potentially major spoilers to emerge online months or years before its release.
Ever since Warner Bros. Pictures announced that they are developing the DC Comics' anti-hero team movie, "Suicide Squad," curious fans have been keeping tabs over this intriguing villainous team up.
Now, as rumors and speculations about the movie heighten, we are sharing 8 massive secrets from set leaks. So, read at your own risk because major "Suicide Squad" spoilers abound!
1. Bruce Wayne's Batmobile
Though "Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" was filmed with a great deal of secrecy, the Batmobile was seen in pursuit of The Joker (Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), What Culture noted.
The current theory? The scene was a flashback that reveals how one or both of the villains are captured by the notorious Caped Crusader.
2. The Deadshot-Harley Quinn Love Affair
In comic book history, the relationship between The Joker and Harley Quinn is one of the most complicated and bizarre. But in recent years, Harley has turned her attentions to Deadshot (Will Smith). In one scene, Deadshot was seen carrying a troubled Harley out of battle and away from the action as she affectionately looked at him.
3. Arkham Asylum psychiatrist Dr. Harleen Quinzel
Before she became the sidekick, Harley Quinn was better known as Dr. Harleen Quinzel, an Arkham Asylum psychiatrist who quit her job when she fell in love with the villain. And if "Suicide Squad" will deal with the origin story of the much-loved comic character, her relationship with The Joker will be explored in further detail.
4. Killer Croc
Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) is undoubtedly one of the biggest disappointments in "Suicide Squad." While his look could be described as comic book faithful, most fans prefer it when he's a hulking beast and not a guy with a bad skin condition.
5. The Joker-Harley Quinn Faceoff
One of the most interesting scenes that was seen on the set of "Suicide Squad" was the unmistakably tense and violent confrontation between Harley Quinn and The Joker. However, it's unclear where the scene will take place in the timeline of the movie. Perhaps it's about their relationship?
After spending days shooting scenes with the Batmobile in pursuit of The Joker, the action on set was drastically changed when the Dark Knight (Ben Affleck) suddenly appeared on top of the car of his nemesis. Sadly, what happens next wasn't revealed on set. But it's safe to say that he captured them, only for The Joker to abandon his sidekick and make his escape.
7. "Suicide Squad" Unofficial Mascot?
Jared Leto's "Suicide Squad" rat, which was his gift to costar Margot Robbie, has become the cast's unofficial mascot, USA Today's Entertain This revealed. The rat has been reportedly adopted by various members of the cast and their friends including Guillermo del Toro!
8. Actors have therapist on set... Why?
Since the movie is so dark, director David Ayer has a therapist on-set to make sure the actors don't lose their minds and things don't get out of hand, ABC News reported. Because for Ayer, it's better safe than sorry.
"Suicide Squad" will hit the theaters in August 2016.
