Actress Laurie Metcalf, best known for her portrayal of Jackie on the hit '90s sitcom "Roseanne," will be hitting the stage of Broadway once again.
The Emmy-winning actress will be starring in a production of "The Other Place." She has won awards for her previous work in earlier productions of the show and has shown fans that she can step outside of the box of her typical comedic role. Her career has largely been based on comedy, but "The Other Place" is a psychological drama, by Sharr White.
Metcalf has not only starred in "Roseanne," but has made appearances in shows like, "Norm," "Easy Money," "The Big Bang Theory" and even lending her voice to cartoons like all three "Toy Story" movies and "Meet the Robinsons. "
"The Other Place" will open at the Samuel J. Friedman center on January 10, 2013.
