David Letterman bid goodbye to his popular show "Late Show" last year, and now, after more than a year of enjoying his retirement, he's back.

Just Jared reported that David Letterman was a special guest in a stage show entitled Martin Short and Steve Martin's "A Very Stupid Conversation."

David Letterman said that he has no regrets about retiring and that he's happy adding that he was "satisfied" and "content." Letterman added, "And then a couple of days ago, Donald Trump said he was running for president. I have made the biggest mistake of my life, I tell you."

Letterman then brought out his famous "Top 10 List" and this time it's about Donald Trump. Some of the things on the list usually included funny comments about his hair. Letterman compared it to a chicken that's "free-range." There was also some reference on the recent comment that Trump made about the Mexican people saying that Donald Trump is going to star on a filme, entitled "No Amigos" — a quick reference to the film "Three Amigos."

There were also references made to the fact that there were some networks who dropped Donald Trump's show.

According to CBS, David Letterman had a very successful career in hosting. He started his career in Indiana as a weatherman and as a radio host. There were traces of an emerging comedian while he was working as a weatherman. There was even an incident where Letterman jokingly said congratulations to a typhoon that was recently upgraded to a hurricane. Although the comment seems untimely and upsetting to some people, it showed Letterman's trademark — "his cynical sense of humor."

Letterman got his big break on television on CBS's "Mary starring Mary Tyler Moore." And the rest, as they say, was history.

Letterman was born in Indianapolis on April 12, 1947 to Dorothy and Harry Joseph Letterman. His mother worked as a church secretary while his father was a florist.
