Sofia Vergara's birthday photos show how much she enjoyed turning 43, last Friday. The "Modern Family" star shared the photos on social media to prove it.

Based on the photos that she shared on Instagram, the birthday girl had a blast. She posted a photo with fiancé Joe Manganiello in her official Instagram @sofiavergara captioned "Happy bdaaay to me!!!" The couple got engaged last December 2014.

According to NY Daily News, there were other photos posted by Sofia. There was one photo that showed an elegantly arranged dining table and of course, some snaps of her friends and family enjoying the party.

No birthday is complete without gifts, and it seems Sophia got everything she wished for this year. She got a shirt — presumably from Joe because a closer look at the shirt revealed a printed image of Joe as a centaur. Vergara also got some "bling" on her birthday and to top it all off — a mariachi band.

Sofia Vergara is known for playing the role of Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in the Emmy award-winning series "Modern Family." IMDB noted that Sofia was born in Barranquilla, Colombia to Margarita Vergara Davila de Vergara and Julio Enrique Vergara Rabayo. Her mother is a housewife while her father supplies cattle.

After being discovered on a beach by a photographer, Sophia started her modeling and television career. She co-hosted a travel show entitled "Fuera de serie" and this paved way to a movie career in the United States. She landed some roles in different movies but she became a household name as "Gloria" in "Modern Family." She was even nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series because of the hit series.

According to Biography.com, Sofia Vergara is also making a name in the film industry as well. She was the voice of Carmen in the hit animation film "Happy Feet Two" and she's also part of the movie "New Year' Eve" and many others.
