Too much RAM they say is an overkill, but not with Samsung Galaxy Note 5, as the South Korean tech giant is reportedly releasing 4GB of RAM on its latest phablet.
Whispers are brewing into loud talks as the Galaxy Note 5 might have an increase from the 3GB of RAM on the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S6, according to iDigital Times.
Moreover, an insider told SamMobile that the Galaxy Note 5 might contain the LP-DDR4 RAM module in particular. The insider also said that the Exynos 7422 SoC, which will debut with the Galaxy Note 5, will be the company's first true single-chip solution (ePOP) combining an octa-core 64-bit CPU, GPU, RAM, memory storage and the Shannon 333 LTE modem in the same package.
Phone Arena, on the other hand, revealed that Galaxy Note 5 may have the greatest selfie camera. They have disposed the 2 MP frontal camera of the S5 for a wide-angle 5 MP shooter on the S6 and S6 Edge. This upgrade according to the tech site started with the Note 4 with a 3.7 MP cam, but the S6 really takes it a step further.
You might argue that the phone market is already rife with phones offering 5 MP or even 8 MP front snappers. But really, other factors are in play aside from megapixels. Note 5's 5 MP has a crystal clear quality that makes it stand out over the rest.
There is also word that the Galaxy Note 5 will come with a 5.67-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 1440 by 2560 pixels (QHD).
Samsung is reportedly planning to release the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy Edge Plus in August rather than the traditional unveiling at IFA Berlin in September. This early launch is a market strategy to help get the Galaxy Note 5 more shelf time before Apple launches their iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
