"Frozen" became an international hit when it was released in November 2013. It became one of the most successful animated films, and fans of the film are happy that Disney finally announced that there is going to be a sequel called "Frozen 2."

Master Herald reported that there have been many predictions about the plot of the film and it seems that for "Frozen 2," Queen Elsa is going to finally have her love story.

Movie News Guide reported that rumors are circulating that in "Frozen 2," Queen Elsa's going to be characterized as a lesbian, making the movie LGBT-friendly. There's no confirmation about this and even the cast members are tight-lipped about it, but this would be an interesting approach to the story.

As for the villains, some say that there is a new "fire-based" villain that is going to be introduced in "Frozen 2." There's another rumor about a new villain who can wield both fire and ice and who will eventually challenge Queen Elsa's power to the limit.

John Lasseter, Disney's chief creator officer, said that the rest of team has tons of ideas about the sequel. He added, "We are taking you back to Arendelle." Lasseter said that they will give the fans additional information as they continue to work on the sequel.

In the first installment of the animated film, the story revolved around Elsa's struggles to cope with her magical power. She was always worried that she might hurt someone, so she isolated herself from everyone else. She didn't want to relive the childhood accident where she accidentally hit her sister, Anna, using her icy power. Anna became very ill and the only way to cure her involved erasing any memory of Elsa's power. Many other things happened following which, but things worked out between the two and Elsa was crowned queen.

According to Ecumenical News, "Frozen 2" is going to be released in 2018.
