‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’ Introduces Star Lord’s Father; Prominent Theories, Predictions

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is to introduce Star Lord's father! The upcoming Marvel film was already claimed by the actor Chris Pratt, who's playing the role of Star Lord, to be the greatest movie all time.
The curious part, other than who's going to play the character, is his real identity. There are a lot of theories about it, and Master Herald found a few prominent ones.
A lot of fans bet on The Collector, and one of the bases for that is the revelation that Star Lord's father is not a human. He is one of the oldest (living) being in the Universe, so there is a very big chance that he could be the one.
Next in line is J'Son, who is Peter Quill's father in the comics. However, director James Gunn who recently confirmed on social media this next installment will reveal Quill's mysterious dad, said that he was going to take a different approach so who knows, right?
The third one is Thanos. There's so much skepticism about this theory as it sounds similar to "Star Wars." Many don't believe this will ever happen, but the producers can add something to it to make it more unique.
While these are all speculations, one character has been confirmed for a comeback. Nebula, Thanos' treacherous daughter who managed to escape the final battle will return to the sequel, according to International Business Times.
It is also predicted that in this film, Dave Bautista's character, Drax the destroyer, will finally show his true power.
The expectations are high for the "Guardians of the Galaxy" sequel, considering that the first movie made a record on the largest pre-opening tally of the year. As per Cinemablend, the movie's net income was $11.2 million during its Thursday night run.
"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is planned to be released on May 5, 2017.
