Actress Jaime King is the latest celebrity to join the baby bandwagon this year. On Monday, she announced the marvelous news on Instagram.

King and her husband Kyle Newman became jubilant parents again as they welcomed with open arms the birth of a baby boy, their second child.

In her post, she wrote, "We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy! Born Thursday, July 16th! Xx," together with an intimate snap inside the hospital surrounded by her family.

Jaime King announced her second pregnancy in February. She has an older son, named James Knight, whom she gave birth to in October 2013, as per  ABC News.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail revealed that as of last month, Jaime King and husband Kyle had decided on what the baby's moniker would be, but they were still searching for a name that is "classic and eclectic" to enhance the first name.

King said, "I know the first part. We just have to decide on the second part. Names are never easy, you don't want something to be too Hollywood and out there. I want my child to feel strong in life and in business and what they do, but it's still romantic at the same time ... It's not easy, but I like classic and eclectic mixed together so it's a bit of both of my worlds at the same time."

She revealed that it was not a walk in the park dealing with body-shaming criticisms while expecting a child. She said, "I've seen it happen with other pregnant women in this business too - we're either too thin or put on too much weight. But every woman's body is different." She then continued. "All that matters is that you're taking care of the nutrition for yourself and your child."

US Magazine disclosed that although the bouncing baby boy's name was not revealed, it was confirmed by Jaime King herself that pop superstar Taylor Swift will be his godmother.

Swift is a close friend of the "Pearl Harbor" actress. In fact, the "Style" singer threw a lavish baby shower last month, with fun costumes and photo booth to complete the event. It was a star-studded party as some of those in attendance were Jessica Alba, Nina Dobrev, Gigi Hadid, Sarah Hyland, Emma Roberts and Hailee Steinfeld.
