Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are still living together to co-parent their kids despite the recent divorce announcement. Currently, the ex-couple is renovating the 8,800-square-foot home in the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles.

Since their home is currently under construction, Ben Affleck is reportedly renting Brooke Shields' 5-bedroom mansion, which is just a few houses away from the ex-couple's property. According to New York Post's Page Six, Shields' home won't be a "bachelor's pad" for the 42-year-old "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor. Instead, it will be a family refuge while the house he shared with Garner is currently a construction zone.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their divorce in June. The ex-couple are currently in Georgia, where Garner is filming her latest movie. They are joined by their three kids — 9-year-old Violet, 6-year-old Seraphina and 3-year-old Samuel.       

While the news of their separation made headlines, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner did their best to put on a united front including a family vacation in the Bahamas. And last weekend, BuzzFeed noted the family recued a yellow golden retriever puppy while in Atlanta. The cute puppy was carried by Affleck like a baby.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Garner is now back on track to focus on her career. As per New York Post, the 43-year-old "13 Going on 30" actress sacrificed her career for family when she married Affleck in 2005. At the time, the couple mutually decided to have alternate time at home. However, Garner eventually decided to focus most of her time in raising her children until the staying-at-home portion became greatly uneven.

Amid the divorce, Jennifer Garner, who was one of the most sought-after Hollywood actresses nine years ago, is finally back in making movies. While most of her time during her marriage with Ben Affleck was spent at home and taking care of their children, now seems to be the right time for Jen to finally restore her career without Affleck hindering her spotlight.
