"Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" Spoilers — The fifth installment of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise is currently in the production phase, but many fans are already thrilled and excited even if it will take two years before the movie will be released. However, rumor has it that Johnny Depp aka Captain Jack Sparrow is planning to exit the movie franchise.

Will "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" be Johnny Depp's last character performance of the beloved Captain Jack Sparrow? According to Movie Pilot, Walt Disney Pictures, the production company of the film, might be facing a bigger issue if Depp suddenly doesn't want to be in the movies anymore. And it will also be a major turning point in the series.

While the report is still unconfirmed, Jim Carrey is one of the actors being considered to replace Depp for Sparrow's role after "Pirates of the Caribbean 5." Actors Dan Stevens and Robert Downey Jr. are also reportedly envisaged to play the pirate hero.

Meanwhile, as the production for the fifth installment of the "Pirates" franchise started in Hamilton Island in Australia, a new villain recently emerged after a photo from the set was leaked. So, who is the new villainous character? It is actor Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar, Christian Today has learned.

As described, Captain Salazar is a pirate whose ship and crew were locked in in the Devil's Triangle (Bermuda Triangle) and when he was freed, he and his ghostly crew try to kill every pirate on the planet. And in order to stop his murderous rampage, Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) must obtain the power of the Trident of Poseidon.

Aside from Depp, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" also brings back Orlando Bloom as William Turner despite Master Herald's initial report that Bloom is not reprising his role in the movie. And since he became the new captain of the Flying Dutchman after defeating Davey Jones in "Pirates 3," it will be his responsibility to send Captain Salazar back to the underworld.

It is also rumored that actor Brenton Thwaites will be on board as Henry Turner, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann's (Keira Knightley) son. However, it is yet to be confirmed.

For now, the only detail in the "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" that is quite sure is the schedule of its release, which will be on Jul. 7, 2017 after it was delayed due to script and budget issues.
