Caitlyn Jenner must still be on cloud nine these days especially after receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY Award a few days ago. Since her transition, varied opinions have been voiced out about her. Thankfully, most are positive and accepting of the changes.
Her tell-all TV series "I Am Cait" had just premiered and the former Olympian had a story to tell that will release a flow of emotions from those who can relate to what she had gone through.
Read on for her shocking revelations in the premiere episode of "I Am Cait."
Caitlyn Jenner, 65, confessed as per Daily Mail, that it's not an easy journey, and that peace had sometimes evaded her. When she was at the lowest point in her life, thoughts of committing suicide entered her mind.
She revealed, "I've been in some dark places, I have been in my house with a gun and said, 'Let's just end i right there, no more pain, no more suffering,' that struggle, it's real and I've been there."
The former "KUWTK" star also admitted that she was in a dilemma with her decision to come out and live as a woman because she felt that she would "tear apart" her family, even though her immediate family maintained that they were up for her transition.
Caitlyn related: "They keep saying to me openly that everything is great. 'We want you to live your life.' And then they never show up. So, you know, something else is going on in in their head...There are a lot of families that are just...torn apart by it. I don't want to tear my family apart."
At the time the clip was taken, not all of her children and stepchildren had met Caitlyn, including Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian. She was all the more concerned that they won't approve her new identity.
Meanwhile, a Lamborghini Aventador was spotted in her Malibu mansion in California on Tuesday morning. TMZ reported that it was just a rental for "I Am Cait" though. Not that Caitlyn could not afford it, she has already an imposing collection of flashy cars, state of the art golf kit and modern helicopters. Kanye West, Kim Kardashian's husband also owns the same car.
Caitlyn Jenner has been celebrating the positive reactions from American media markets running after the heels of her fresh E! docuseries, "I Am Cait."
But, Slim Shady thought otherwise. On his guesting on "Sway In The Morning," he took aim at Caitlyn Jenner and rapped, "Heat seeking missile duck, demented sick see who gives a f***. I invented p**** and this a true statement, I see the b**ch in you, Caitlyn."
"I keep the pistol tucked like Bruce Jenner's d***. No disrespect though not at all, no pun intended that took a lot of balls."
According to Daily Mail, Eminem later said, perhaps in a move to ward of criticisms, that he was only joking around during sessions.
He stated: "The rhyme by the way, it's all in fun. I just say s*** to say it. I don't even know if there's anything. It's very rarely, very rarely personal. Put it this way, if it was ever personal, someone would know it."
On the other end, as per Deadline, "I am Cait" sought to be an advocacy for the LGBT community.
Although reality TV sometimes have staged episodes, Caitlyn Jenner's docu-drama series is raw and touching. Its focuse on transgender youth — who were frequently the subject of alienation, bullying and attacks, and would often resort to attempting to commit suicide — was quite a remarkable decision from either Jenner or E!
