"The Flash" Season 2 will carry on the unprecedented success when seaon 1 premiered. Fans got hooked on the adventures of Barry Allen and how he dealt with his newfound power.
If you're ready for some MAJOR SPOILERS, read on.
Speculations and rumors abound "The Flash" Season 2, but according to Master Herald, Barry Allen will be exploring the Multiverse — a massive "area" of a boundless number of possibilities and universes — each universe slightly differs from its surrounding areas. The Flash would find it very interesting to probe this Multiverse and someone may come up with distinct possible outcomes to each definite situations. Although it's not known how he will maximize the potential of the Multiverse, but expect the forthcoming episodes of "The Flash" Season 2 to work around this idea.
"The Flash" Season 2 will still see Zoom as the major villain, who is said to be very dangerous and can wreak havoc when opportunity arises. More conflict equals more action, so expect Flash to try his best and save the day.
Of course, romance would likely be introduced, too. In season 1, sparks flew between Barry Allen and Iris West. In "The Flash" Season 2, things in the love department will be kept interesting by the arrival of Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSaten), who is said to be Barry's main romantic interest.
Another major development in "The Flash" Season 2 will be the presence of Barry's new mentor, none other than, the original Flash from comic books, Jay Garrick to be portrayed by Teddy Sears, as per MoviePilot.
Season 1 saw the demise of Harrison Wells who turned into Reverse Flash. His departure left Barry on his own without no one to guide him become a better version of himself, so with the original speedster to lend a hand, that would be something cool to watch out for in "The Flash" Season 2.
Meanwhile, Christian Today added that "The Flash" Season 2 will be bleak and emotional, as to what Grant Gustin related to Buddy TV. He revealed that he wanted Barry, the character he plays, to increase his karaoke sessions and how he was contented with the fun in Season 1.
The actor further disclosed that "The Flash" Season 2 portrays Barry as a lone wolf who renounces anybody's help, feeling it will bring those who aid him into danger if he accepted it. Barry felt guilty about getting praised for what Eddie had done to thwart Reverse Flash.
"The Flash" Season 2 also brings in new powers for Barry and how he tries to enhance them further, apparently with the help of Jay Garrick.
Danielle Panabaker, who portrays Caitlin, disclosed to Entertainment Weekly that Garrick's presence is "going to have an impact on everybody on Team Flash."
"He's going to be a very cool mentor to Barry and he's going to help Barry expand his powers and the things that he's capable of doing," she added.
Of course, "The Flash" Season 2 will parade a new costume for Barry Allen's Flash. See the photos below and share your thoughts about the upcoming CW show set to premiere on Oct. 6.
