"The Flash" cast Keiynan Lonsdale to play Wally West for its season 2. In the comics, West is known as a founding member of the Teen Titans and Flash's sidekick.

He is also the nephew of Iris West, the love interest of Barry Allen who eventually became his wife. According to Variety, Iris doesn't appear to have any siblings in CW's series, so there is a possible twist in the origin of Lonsdale's character.

Before he landed West's role, Lonsdale played Uriah in "Insurgent." Aside from being an actor, he is also a singer and a dancer.

1.     He decided to focus on acting when he joined "Fame."

He joined the said musical when he was 18. The lead actor got injured so he came in as his replacement.

That was when he found out that he liked acting, so he decided to focus on it and do less dancing. However, he admitted that he couldn't totally say goodbye to dancing because that was his world.

2.     He realized that money can easily come and go when you're an actor.

He said it's just being smart with your money.

He has a list of big names that he wanted to work with, but The Vice learned that two came from Marvel. He noted Robert Downey Jr., who plays Iron Man in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and Michael Fassbender, who will play Magneto in "X-Men: Apocalypse."

4.      He loves Los Angeles but misses Tim Tams.

The Aussie actor, who just got his apartment in March, says the he finds L.A. cool. It's like Sydney, with the beaches and everything.

He revealed, in his interview with Glamour, that he was homesick for Tim Tams. It is a two-layered chocolate malted biscuit made by the Australian food company Arnott's.

5.      He may look tough, but he's not a fan of bugs.

He was asked about Dauntless landscape simulation, and he admitted that his fear landscape would be skydiving. It was not the height he was afraid of, but the falling part.

Following that fear revelation, he also admitted that he's not a fan of spiders and bugs.

"The Flash" season 2 is slated for Oct. 6, 8 p.m. on CW network.
