"How to Get Away with Murder" is set to return to ABC for its season 2. Cast Viola Davis and showrunner Pete Nowalk give fans a glimpse on what's going to happen with the series' plot and characters in the upcoming season.
The season finale in February evidently was shocking as it answered a lot of questions fans have for the entire season. However, there were so much more — like who killed Rebecca?
"Everybody is going to be a suspect in this coming season," Davis, who plays the role of Annalise Keating, said. "There [is] no one who's going to be off limits."
Apparently, viewers will no longer have to wait that long to find out who killed Rebecca as Davis' co-star Liza Weil said that the killer's identity will be revealed on the first episode, E! News learned.
Alfred Enoch, who plays the role of Wes Gibbins, says that "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 will not be slowing down anytime soon. There will be more questions and more answers to look forward to.
"There [are] more mysteries to come. It's just the beginning of everything," Matt McGorry, who plays the role of Asher Millstone, teased.
"That's the great thing about the show. You figure out one thing and then there's another mystery right around the corner," he added.
Meanwhile, Nowalk confirmed that "How to Get Away with Murder" will begin a week and a half after Rebecca's death. Deadline found out that darker, more twisted things are about to happen as the show focuses on the other characters' back stories.
"You think you know them, but you don't know them at all," Norwalk said.
Norwalk hinted that Rebecca's body will be just another layer on a situation that's already been complicated, Zap2it reported. He added that there will be a lot of complications stemming out from Sam's death.
More secrets will unfold when "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premieres on Sept. 24.
