Emma Watson 2015 SHOCKER: ‘I Felt Really Uncomfortable’ Before Split With Matt Janney

"Harry Potter" alum Emma Watson does not need spells and whatever witchcraft potions in handling breakups. She simply turned to the power of silence to get by the difficult time. Gracing the cover of Vogue's September issue, Watson dished out to the magazine her thoughts about her latest breakup, her acting gig as a young kid and her role as a Goodwill Ambassador for U.N. Women.
In her tell-all, Watson revealed that her breakup from Oxford rugby player Matt Janney was "horrendous." The couple reportedly broke up in Dec. 2014 after almost a year of enjoying each other's company.
Instead of sleeping with a box of tissues beside her, however, Watson recalled that she turned the pain inward and maintained her silence until the drama fizzled on its own.
However, she admitted that she was uncomfortable toward the end of their relationship, saying: "I felt really uncomfortable even before my relationship ended."
As quoted by Us Weekly, she then went on to say, "I went on a silent retreat, because I really wanted to figure out how to be at home with myself."
Surprisingly, Watson admitted that she did learn positive things through her dating experiences amid her crammed schedule as an actress, an ambassador and a gender equality activist.
"The boyfriend or partners I've had have generally made me feel really cherished. They've built me up. I certainly haven't found that with doing all that I do or being all that I am, that I've struggled in my love life," she said.
Apart from her breakup story, Emma also gushed to Vogue about her acting experience at a very young age. The now 25-year-old actress said, "It's something I've really wrestled with. I've gone back and I've quizzed my parents. When I was younger, I just did it. I just acted. It was just there. So now when I receive recognition for my acting, I feel incredibly uncomfortable. I tend to turn in on myself. I feel like an imposter... It was just something I did."
Watson has indeed gone a long way after playing Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" films. She studied at Oxford and Brown University while maintaining her acting career in a couple of films, such as "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," "The Bling Ring" and "Noah."
Her latest upcoming gig in her career is her portrayal of Belle in the live-action version of Disney's "Beauty and The Beast" in 2017, as per MTV.
Of course, who can forget her role as a Goodwill Ambassador? Watson has this to say about her special role: "Everything clicked into place in a way that it hadn't before. I understood what I'm here to do and knew where to channel all this energy that has been coming at me. I now feel this sense of peace. People say that I'm different since I did it."
