The news about the breakup of "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Vicki Gunvalson and her on-and-off again boyfriend Brooks Ayers may have only thrilled one person. And that is Gunvalson's daughter Briana Culberson, who has been very vocal about disliking her mom's beau and even slammed him during a reunion show.

While it's speculated that Vicki Gunvalson's daughter is happy that her mom has finally ditched longtime boyfriend Brooks Ayers, the ex-couple released a joint statement, which was posted in Facebook, E! News noted.

"After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship," Gunvalson and Ayers wrote. "We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths."

"Though the remaining episodes of Season 10 of 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015," the pair added. "There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time."

This isn't the first breakup of the couple. The 53-year-old "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Vicki Gunvalson and ex Brooks Ayers, who confirmed the split on Sunday, have also parted ways back in 2013 after two years of dating. But by fall of 2014, they rekindled their romance when they learned that Ayers has stage 3 cancer, Us Weekly reported.

"[Cancer] either will tear you apart as a couple or bring you together. And with us, without a doubt, it's brought us together," Ayers said.

When Ayers moved into Gunvalson's Orange County home, one person was so furious about their romance and she's none other than the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star's daughter, Briana Culberson.

"You told my husband, 'You have to start hitting Briana to get her to fall in line,'" Gunvalson's daughter recalled. Ayers confirmed he said those words and later apologized after he claimed he was drunk at that time.

Culberson, however, wasn't alone in her aversions over Ayers. Gunvalson's on-and-off bestie Tamra Judge also had issues with Ayers.
