A former nanny spills the juice on the Kardashian family in a recent tell-all book that focuses largely on what Kim Kardashian was like growing up.
Pam Behar, who was a caretaker for the children for five years, shares how the reality star was always made the family's biggest focus. She even compares Kim to Marcia Brady, from The Brady Bunch.
"Just like when Jan always said 'Marcia Marcia Marcia', it was always 'Kim Kim Kim' in the house," News.com.au quoted Behar.
Behar's book is titled 'Malibu Nanny: The True Adventures of the Former Kardashian Nanny.'
The ex-nanny claims that Kim has always tried to be a "princess," in addition to taking the attention away from her other siblings.
"There's a quality about Kim, a princess quality. I don't mean this in a bad way but she has always thought of herself as a princess and wanted to be a princess and carries herself like a princess- I think that's why she stood out," she said.
Kim has always been pointed at by the media as a social climber. This is especially believed now with recent attempts at trying too hard to become singer Beyonce's new best friend and rumors of her recent relationship with rapper Kanye West speculated to be a stage act for more camera time.
Could Kim have been dating the right people to climb the social latter since her youth? The memoir shows signs that she may have. Behar reveals that Kim's long-time boyfriend as a teenager was TJ Jackson, the nephew of king of pop, Michael Jackson. TJ also happens to be the boy Kim lost her virginity to at 14.
Behar compares Kim's thirst for fame with her sisters' supposedly more tame behavior.
"Kourtney and Khloe were more grounded, less interested in being in the spotlight and more normal," she said.
Behar doesn't blame Kim's princess-like demeanor solely on the fame-chasing star, she adds that mother, Kris Jenner, had much to do with the priming of her daughters in hopes that they would reach stardom one day.
"I believe she was grooming her children from their current celebrity status their entire lives...She always wanted what's happening right now- the show, the magazines, the fame, the unending talk, so I think she's living her dream right now," she added.
Behar explains in the book that she was almost like a second mother for the children between 1991-1996, the time in which she cared for them.
"Because Bruce and Kris travelled so much, they needed someone at home to watch the kids and manage the household. I realized, as nanny, I was not just a caretaker, but I was also a surrogate mom in a way. I fell in love with those kids very quickly. I loved them as if they were my own. And I assumed that's what Kris wanted."
Although the book has not been publically endorsed by the Kardashian family, Behar says she has shown Kris the book and has gotten her good wishes.
