"The Originals" Season 3 is awaited by fans because of the intriguing ending in last season's finale episode. Season 2 saw Klaus Mikaelson become a responsible father by going through all the lengths to save his baby from an impending danger — that is Klaus style — where it doesn't matter who gets stepped over as long as the mission gets done.
This time an update for "The Originals" Season 3 suggested that Klaus and Cami could get into the dating game.
Michael Narducci, the executive producer of "The Vampire Diaries" spinoff said, as per TV Guide, that things could get intense between Joseph Morgan and Leah Pipes' characters within the upcoming season.
"When we begin this season, Klaus and Cami have a very professional relationship. He's been so awful and diabolical to his family. He started to see Cami professionally, as if to show Elijah that he's turning over a new leaf."
According to Fashion & Style, the vampire half breed will be scheduling appointments with a professional therapist to show his siblings that he's dedicated in turning away from his old ruthless self and will try his best to become a better individual.
While Klaus is determined to change for the better, Cami felt obligated to aid him on his endeavor.
Narducci emphasized that Cami is now a licensed practitioner so she felt it is her obligation to the O'Connell family to assist Klaus controlling his temper and prevent him from murdering innocent people.
However, as Cami assists Klaus deal with his anger issues, sparks will clearly be fluttering around the two of them.
Furthermore, Narducci teased that the development of Klaus and Cami's connection will be "interesting" and there's a big chance that they will start dating.
Aside from the development of Klaus and Cami's relationship, Hope's father will also exhaust means to defend the Mikaelsons in "The Originals" Season 3.
Entertainment Weekly reported Joseph Morgan recently dished out details that he filmed a major fight scene that enforced Klaus to battle against another of his own kind. He hinted that "there was plenty of emotional content in the fight" and the conflict was "a long time coming."
Meanwhile, Cross Map revealed that Klaus' siblings will join him in Season 3 for a reunion. Claire Holt who took a breather in Season 2 will be back as the real Rebekah Mikaelson alongside Casper Zafer as Finn Mikaelson and Nathaniel Buzolic as Kol Mikaelson. In Season 2 different actors played their characters because they were placed by their mother, Esther, into different bodies through a body jump.
Narducci told TV Guide, the reason why the original stars' presence in "The Originals" Season 3 was: "(It's) a flashback that we've never seen before. We've always understood that the Mikaelson family, the brothers and sister, had to flee in the wake of Esther's death by Klaus' hands. Klaus blamed Mikael and said, 'We have to go. Our father is insane,' and for a very long time Mikael chased them. So wouldn't it be cool to see the family not long after that? What was their state of mind? What were their relationships like? How did they relate to one another knowing Mikael was out there somewhere, and they're relatively new vampires so what was their existence like? I think it might be surprising and interesting."
Yusuf Gatewood who played Finn Mikaelson in the greater part of Season 2 and later as the witch Vincent was interviewed by Buddy TV at the San Diego Comic-Con a few months ago and he talked about how his role was supposed to be in two installments only but then was extended. At the last few episodes of Season 2 when he got back to his old self he has helped propelled Davina as regent, Gatewood shared his insight about his character in "The Originals" Season 3. He said, "This season, with Vincent, I think, as we saw at the end of the last season, he's sworn off magic and he's trying to be somewhat of a mentor to Davina, who's risen up in the ranks and is now the regent, but whether or not his voice is going to be heard by Davina at this point remains to be seen."
Catch "The Originals" Season 3 on Oct. 8, Thursday, on The CW.
