After "Jurassic World" successfully dominated the cinemas in its June premiere earlier this year, fans and movie critiques alike wonder how this blockbuster would manage to make a fifth iteration of the the well-loved franchise. Director Colin Trevorrow has already confirmed last month that "Jurassic World 2" would be released in 2018.

Nothing is specific at the moment but since "Jurassic World" has been massively embraced by fans who got excited to see dinosaurs back on the big screen as well as newly captured spectators which can be attributed either to its "franchise popularity" or the "general nostalgia" of fanatics as Forbes put it , Trevorrow and his team are expected to put through with another installation of the film.

The director has explained in previous promotions before that the concept of technology proliferation opens up a brand new way for reprising the story for another film, Cinema Blend reported.

In the same statement, Trevorrow mentioned that the original name of the movie was changed to "World" for a reason. As such, it would be safe to assume that "Jurassic World 2" would bring viewers to question themselves as to the possibility of the film's plot to actually exist in real life which, we should admit, is an old but effective trick in gaining the nod of movie-goers.

IGN has asserted despite the danger of "traditional[ly] rehashing," "World" was able to create "an original spirit" of the film.

Meanwhile, Vine Report has announced that UK fans will get to see stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprise their respective roles in said movie two weeks ahead of the June 22, 2018 global premiere.

A Variety article has also said that Derek Connolly, co-screen writer of recent Jurassic was confirmed to have been helping revamp an upcoming adaptation of "King Kong" to be released in 2017.
