Sofia Vergara has been making news a lot recently and for all good reasons. So what kind of goods is this week bringing for the television star?
Let's first recap on last week. In the prior week, Vergara celebrated her 40th birthday, became engaged, received her third Emmy nomination and was named the highest paid actress in television.
This week, Vergara has been reported to guest star as Peter Griffin's fantasy love interest on a future episode of hit comedy, "Family Guy." The episode will mimic a Latin telenovela, where Vergara will voice Peter's Latin lover.
The same episode will feature Vergara playing a woman selling flowers in a restaurant as Quagmire attempts to impress Peter so that Peter will do him a favor.
"Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane is keeping Vergara in the mix as she will also star on his other Fox comedy, "The Cleveland Show," where she will voice a woman trying to persuade Cleveland to host a quinceanera for his son's 15th birthday celebration.
The highly sought after Vergera will definitely be turning up the Latin flavor on the network.
The newest season of "Family Guy" premieres September 30th and will also showcase the voices of Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Elizabeth Banks, and Kellan Lutz. Meanwhile, "The Cleveland Show" premieres on October 7th and will feature the voices of Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, will.i.a.m, and ?uestlove
