Selena Gomez has said that she did not regret her wild roller coaster relationship with teen pop sensation Justin Bieber.

The 23-year old star has recently opened up about the on-again, off-again romance saying, "I didn't think I was doing anything bad by falling in love," the 23-year-old songstress told the UK's Sunday Times. "There's such an emphasis on people being the perfect thing and then destroying them because it's good press. Throw in the fact that you're a teenager - it makes it more difficult."

Selena Gomez and Justine Bieber had an on-and-off relationship that started way back in 2010, when they were 18 and 16, respectively. The relationship was reported to have ended for good last 2014.

For years, this pop star couple has been in constant scrutiny by the public eye. The young star has said that with the attention their past relationship has made, it became difficult for the public to see them as individuals.

"It's difficult for people to separate us," she said. "The Internet wants to freeze this moment in time and constantly repeat it." 

She recently posted a racy photo on her Instagram account where she was seen wearing a white tank top and a cheetah-print underwear. Additionally, Gomez has reportedly ditched her famous "purity ring" that her father gave her.

She stated that she was the one who asked her father for a promise ring. She even recalled that her dad "...went to the church and got it blessed." However, she said that she removed the said ring when she began dating Justine Bieber, Sydney Morning Herald has learned.

But still, she said she has no regrets and says that there's one friend that she can lean on through the good and bad, and it is none other than pop singer Taylor Swift, as per ET Online.

"I can count on one hand the people I could call and who would be there for me. Taylor is one of the greatest people," she gushed. "When I split with my first boyfriend and I was really sad about it, she flew into town with homemade cookies and a bunch of junk food."
