"NBA 2K16" fans are anticipating the release of the widely successful basketball simulation video game franchise. The game will feature three different covers of NBA players, namely Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, James Harden of Houston Rockets and Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans.
According NESN.com, Stephen Curry and not LeBron James, may be the highest rated player in the said game.
As fans may recall in the previous instalment of the "NBA 2K" franchise, James had a rating of 98 while reigning season MVP Stephen Curry had 89.
But with Curry and the Warriors winning the NBA Championship from James and the Cavaliers last playoffs, this proved to be the basis of their potential ratings for the upcoming "NBA 2K16."
However, some fans are also wondering about the "NBA 2K" rating of their favorite players. Particularly Kevin Durant of the OKC Thunders and 5-time champion Kobe Bryant.
As attackofthefanboy.com learned, both players were injured for most of the season which resulted into Durant receiving a rating of 91 from his previous of 95. But the biggest shocker among fans is Bryant's rating of 85, the lowest rating he has ever received in an "NBA 2K" game.
The successful video game franchise makes up for it by allowing the fans to relieve the glory days by releasing a list of "Classic Teams" such as the 2012-2013 Miami Heat and the 2000-2001 Los Angeles Lakers.
Reported by Design&Trend, the confirmed classic teams also include the following teams:
'03-'04 Detroit Pistons
'07-'08 Houston Rockets
'99-'00 Toronto Raptors
'07-08 Boston Celtics
'02-'03 Dallas Mavericks
'99-'00 Portland Trail Blazers
With these additions, you will get the chance to dictate the outcome of classic match-ups such as the Heat vs. Spurs and the famous Celtics vs. Lakers.
"NBA 2K16" will be released on Sept. 29, 2015 but an option of receiving the game four days earlier is possible through pre-order.
