Zayn Malik, who recently broke up with his ex-fiancée Perrie Edwards, has allegedly found new romance with Indian model Neelam Gill. The Little Mix singer, on the other hand, was reportedly being set up with Rixton's guitarist.
Gill, who is a Burberry model, seemed to have captivated the former One Direction member after he met her in London early this year. According to a source, who exclusively told Daily Mail about this news, the 20-year-old model has plans of jetting to Los Angeles to bond with the 22-year-old singer.
"She is going to LA to spend some time with Zayn and see how things go from there," the source added. "She is serious about her career and doesn't want anything to get in the way of that but she has hit it off with Zayn."
Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, on the other hand, is reportedly being set up with Rixton's guitarist Charley Bagnall by the band's frontman Jake Roche, who just got engaged with Edward's fellow group member Jessy Nelson.
"She's great and smiling again. Maybe Charley needs to widen that smile," Roche revealed, the Hollywood Life reported. "We're trying to set them up now."
Roche recently told The Sun that Malik horribly treated Edwards, especially when he broke off the engagement over a text. Roche said it was not how humans should be treated and that it was disrespectful.
"He's talented but he's spoiled it," Roche said.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell, who signed One Direction under his record label Syco, expressed his concern over the former member's actions. Other than breaking up with Edwards, Malik has gotten himself involved in social media clashes — first, with the producer Naughty Boy; then former band mate Louis Tomlinson and just recently, with Taylor Swift's beau Calvin Harris.
The record producer thought that Malik needed to get his perspective back in his life, Irish Examiner has learned. He also thought that Malik should keep it quiet for a while — referring to posting on social networking sites — make records and enjoy life.
