'Metal Gear Solid 5' UPDATE: Konami Explains Missing Collector's Edition DLC Codes; 'The Phantom Pain' PC Version Slated For Early Launch?

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain," before its official released launched the PS4 Collector's Edition which can be pre-ordered from selected retailers. The problem was there were a few DLC codes missing.
Gamers who received the pre-ordered "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" early claimed that it was missing the codes for Day One DLC and the bonus content that was exclusive to the collector's edition, IGN learned from the earlier reports of NeoGAF and Reddit.
Apparently, the Konami was aware of it, and took the explanation to their official Facebook account. The company clarified that the codes, which were not included within the package, will be delivered on the receipt at the time of purchase, or via email.

Consumers can also contact Konami Customer Support, if they haven't received the voucher codes. Just make sure to keep the proof of purchase handy.
"Metal Gear Solid 5" will hit the consoles on Tuesday, but so will the PC version. Yes, that's right! As per the latest update, the game will be released on PC together with Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360, PC Advisor learned.
It was announced that the PC version would be released on Sept. 15. Apparently, Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. President Tomotada Tashiro said in statement, via a press release, that the company felt confident Steam users would be satisfied with the content that will be provided.
"We feel confident that Steam users will be satisfied with the contents we will provide for the Steam version," according to president Tomotada.
"We initially did not think it would be possible to get such an epic game out onto PC in time for launch alongside its console counterparts, but all involved have worked diligently to meet the demands of our PC consumers," he said.
"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will be released on Sept. 1, in new and last-gen consoles.
Fans out there, do not forget to update your marked calendar, and include the same-day release of the PC version.
