Deadpool, a fan-favorite in the comic book world is finally making his proper big-screen debut. Many fans, including actor Ryan Reynolds, have clamored for a "Deadpool" movie for years, and their efforts have paid off since the film is finally coming.
As reported by Cinema Blend, "The Merc with the Mouth," a nickname Deadpool goes by, guarantees a movie filled with explosive action and witty one-liners.
Ed Skrein, the actor who plays the villain "Ajax," said that the almost all of the movie's outtakes are hilarious which makes him disappointed that only a few will make the final cut.
Skrein said, "The only sad thing about the scene was that Ryan did about seven different versions of that, and being called 'Posh Spice' is the only one I've seen so far." and added "I hope that some of the other ones come out. Maybe (the filmmakers) will release a blooper reel with all the other alternatives. Ryan is such a funny guy and had so many comedic moments. That was just one of them."
Excited for the upcoming move? Here are three reasons why the "Deadpool" movie, might be the best superhero movie ever.
1. The Trailer is Awesome
When the trailer for "Deadpool" debuted, many found it so funny and amusing that fans are making "Deadpool-style" trailers for other movies such as "Spider-Man" and "Man of Steel," as learned by Entertainment Weekly.
As evident from the hilarious trailer released by 20th Century Fox, expect to see many great moments when the movie is released.
2. The Casting is Perfect
According to ComicBook, many are also praising the casting of Ryan Reynolds as a perfect fit, akin to Robert Downey Jr's portrayal of Ironman. Some are even touting that Reynolds was born to play the hero.
Supporting actor TJ Miller is also seen improvising a barrage of funny and crude insults which further validates that this will not be your typical child-friendly superhero movie.
3. It's Faithful To The Comics
Sporting an R-rating, the new "Deadpool" movie is a rarity in the superhero genre. As actor Ryan Reynold dons the Deadpool suit, expect this film to feature raunchy comedy and lots of gratuitous violence.
The creators of the "Deadpool" film promises that this film will be as faithful to the comic books as possible. From the dialogue up to the costume, this movie is making fans of the comic series even more excited.
"Deadpool" will hit theaters on Feb. 12, 2016.
