"Daredevil" season 2 brings two things in Matt Murdock's life — more enemies and a possible love interest. A photo, which was recently leaked online, seems to suggest that Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, and Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll, may have more than just a friendly relationship.
A Twitter user uploaded a snap of Cox and Woll. The picture shows Cox and Woll on the set of "Daredevil," which is reportedly filming its season 2 in New York.
The photo was captioned, "Creepshot out of my bedroom window of the Daredevil leads."
Murdock and Page shared a romantic relationship in the Marvel comics, according to Desing & Trend. However, viewers might want to take note that the show may deviate from comic books.
Meanwhile, "Daredevil" is already set to fight with the Punisher. Played by Jon Bernthal of "The Walking Dead," he will reportedly be the main antagonist of season 2.
Another Twitter user shared a scoop claiming that Marvel found the actor who will be playing Bullseye, another villain to hit "Daredevil" season 2. No official statements were released from the company.
Looking back, there was reportedly a certain point that the role was offered to "The Transporter" actor Jason Statham, but he declined, as per Nerd Reactor.
Meanwhile, Elodie Yung landed the role to play the mysterious woman from Murdock's past. Details of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Elektra is still under wraps, but it was mentioned that her appearance would change Daredevil's life, the Movie Pilot found out.
In the comics though, Elektra, the Greek assassin, was constantly changed from being a hero, anti-hero and villain. However, her character has been one of the notable love interests of "Daredevil."
Will she become his foe or ally? Fans will know more soon.
"Daredevil" season 2 premieres on Netflix in 2016.
