Nina Dobrev's ex Ian Somerhalder is once again teasing his fans of the return of The CW series "The Vampire Diaries" for its seventh run this fall. He took to Instagram yesterday to drop an on-set photo, while his wife Nikki Reed also teased her followers of her upcoming bag line.
On Thursday, Somerhalder shared to his 5.8 million Instagram followers an on-set photo of him and co-actor Paul Wesley. Bother actors could be seen suited up as their sibling characters Damon and Stefan. He captioned the photo "Damon and Stefan at it again..."
Most of the "TVD" actor's fans expressed their joy of seeing Damon and Stefan through emojis, especially the one with hearts as eyes. Somerhalder also shared the same post on his Twitter account.
His post comes a week after fans speculated that his character could be killed off in the upcoming season as hinted by the actor in his posts that strongly suggest that he is ready to let go of the show and move to the future.
He has also shared a few posts that looked back on the CW series' freshman run. One photo even shows a young Ian taking a selfie while filming season 1.
Meanwhile, Somerhalder's wife Nikki Reed is also busy working on her very own bag line. On Wednesday, Reed shared a snap of her photoshoot on Instagram for the new bag line, which, according to her, does not use animal skin and is instead made from post-consumer polyurethane or recycled plastic.
The snap shows someone holding a MacBook that displays a pic from her photoshoot. Ian Somerhalder's wife could be seen elegantly dressed and sporting one of the bags while riding a horse. The snap is in black and white.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 is premiering this fall on Oct. 8.
