‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Features The Return Of Quicksilver; 5 Must-Know Facts About Evan Peters Playing As Magneto’s Son

"X-Men: Apocalypse," which is currently in post-production, cast Evan Peters to reprise his role as Peter. Apparently, in the new installment, Peter or better known as Quicksilver was revealed to be Magneto's son, the Movie Pilot reported.
It has been recently reported that "X-Men: Apocalypse" will show more of the Magneto and Quicksilver's relationship. Before everybody gets curious about that, let's get to know first the actor behind the boy who possesses super-human speed.
1. Basic facts about Peters.
His birth name is Evan Thomas Peters, the second son of Phil and Julia Peters. His older brother is Andrew, and his sister is Michelle.
2. How Peters got to Los Angeles.
Peters was originally from St. Louis, Missouri. In 2001, their family moved to Michigan, where he took local acting classes and pursued his modelling.
At the age of 15, he, together with his mom, moved to Los Angeles so that he can pursue his acting career. According to the Famous Birthday, at 17, he got his first acting role in an Indie film called "Clipping Adam."
He attended Grand Blanc Community High School, in Michigan and Burbank High School, in California before he was home schooled, as per Ace Showbiz.
3. Peters was a commercial model.
Peters performed in several television commercials, including Papa John's Pizza, Kellogg's, Sony PlayStation and Sour Patch Kids before landing the role as Quicksilver in "X-Men: Apocalypse."
4. Peters got a complicated relationship with Julia Roberts' niece.
Peters and Emma Roberts started dating in 2012. In 2013, the couple got into a heated argument, which resulted in physical attack that reportedly left Peters with a bloody nose and bite mark, Hollywood Life reported.
Peters did not press charges, and Roberts was released hours after. They reportedly got engaged in 2014, but called off the engagement in 2015.
5. Some of his movies before the "X-Men: Apocalypse" are...
"Safeflight," where he starred as Charles with "Maleficent" actress Juno Temple and "The Lazarus Effects," together Olivia Wilde, where he played the role of Clay.
He was cast as Alex in the 2013 film "Adult World," with John Cusack and Emma Roberts, as per notes on IMDb.
