iPhone 5 Release Date: What to Expect from New iPhone 5

According to several sources, California based company Apple are likely to have an event scheduled for for its 6th generation smartphone "iPhone 5" soon.
iMore reported that Apple would be holding their iPhone 5 event on September 12, 2012. It also reporterd that iPhone 5 pre-orders are currently planned to begin that same day, at least in the U.S.
Release is still planned for 9 days later, on September 21, 2012. iMore also went further by saying "We've also learned that the second wave of iPhone launches, the ones in international markets, will begin in the first week of October, likely October 5."
The iPhone 5 is expected to have new dock connector, larger screen display, thinner screen, better camera, better camera and better RAM.
According to Apple analyts Gene Munster, Apple will sell 26 million to 28 million devices in its September quarter should its latest iPhone 5 land 10 days before October.
In recent reports, high customer anticipation for iPhone 5 may have caused a quarter-to-quarter drop in iPhone sales at Verizon Wireless and AT&T during the second quarter. Target has decreased the price of the iPhone 4S to $179 and Best Buy has slashed the price of the eight gigabyte iPhone 4 to $49.
Besides from the smart phone, there are speculations that there will come a new and smaller iPad featuring 7.85 inches screen. This move is believed to fight off Amazon's Kindle Fire and it will likely be priced at anywhere from $249 to $299.
