Rihanna Still In Love With Chris Brown: Admits To Oprah

During her intense conversation on the Aug. 19 episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter," the 24-year-old singer explained why she has never stopped caring for Chris Brown, even after he was arrested for physically assaulting her in February 2009.
A judge lifted Rihanna's restraining order against Brown, 23, in February 2011; Brown had previously accepted a plea deal of community labor, five years' formal probation and domestic violence counseling.
Rihanna admitted that her stomach drops every time she sees Brown at an awards show or in nightclubs.
Rihanna also admits to Oprah Winfrey, 68 that Brown was the love of her life.
Despite hearing and reading the backlash and negative reviews from her fans after reconnecting with her ex and even making a hit song together, Rihanna explains that she has forgiven him.
Rihanna decided to forgive Brown after repairing her relationship with her father, who had previously been abusive toward her mother.
"All kinds of emotions started happening after that," the singer told Winfrey. "All kinds of things started making sense. I thought I hated Chris and I realized it was love that was tarnished. It looked like hate because it was ugly, it was angry, it was inflamed, it was tainted and I realized that what it was is, I have to forgive him, because I cared about him still. And the minute I let go of that, I started living again."
Rihanna's hit song "Birthday Cake" which features ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, was recorded in 2012, and the two artist received a lot of backlash from artist, fans, and family.
Chris Brown is currently being sued along with rapper Drake, for $16 million because of a fight they had in a New York City night club that was apparently over Rihanna, which left several people injured and has tainted the nightclub's image.
