"iZombie" Season 2 is fast approaching and fans of Liv Moore, Rose McIver's character, await the latest update from The CW network's comedy-crime drama.

Comicbook.com caught up with Rose McIver and she has dished some juicy details about what will happen in "iZombie" Season 2, feasting on brains and opened up about her costar, David Anders.

"iZombie" Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger of Liv's younger brother holding on to dear life, a number of those close to her turned against her, while David Ander's Blaine DeBeers the villain was seen roaming the streets as a human.

The 26-year-old actress revealed that while they were having a cast reading for the finale, those around where quickly turning the pages as fast as they could as they were totally absorbed as to how things will unfold. At the time "iZombie" was not yet renewed for Season 2 but she was so engrossed with what the writers made that she wanted to get all the answers on what's to come. When the show was eventually given a go signal for another season, Liv's world has been turned upside down.

As for the TV series' villain, David Anders, Rose McIver has this to say, "He's brilliant. He's one of my favorite actors that I've worked with. We have a lot of fun. He's got a kind of commitment and power in his delivery, that I'm very glad is playing our villain."

And speaking of Blaine DeBeers, who was cashing in on slaughtering homeless kids and satisfying socialite zombies' cravings with their brains in "iZombie" Season 1, the decision of Liv to cure him was pure punishment for the mafia boss. Thus, as per the executive producers of the show, he will be exhausting all efforts to uphold the facade that he's still a zombie, even resorting to bleach to turn his hair blonde, as per Franchise Herald.

Interestingly, Anders posted on his Twitter account a photo to give "iZombie" fans a glimpse of his character. He wrote, "#iZombie is a hair different this year."

Meanwhile, TV Guide revealed Liv and Blaine, despite being at odds on the previous season, will have no choice but to team up for "iZombie" Season 2. Creator Rob Thomas disclosed, "Blaine and Liv will figure out somewhere reasonably early in Season 2 that someone is eliminating zombies and that will make very strange bedfellows out of the two of them. They will find they may need each other's help before all zombies are taken out."

Catch "iZombie" Season 2 on The CW on Oct, 6, Tuesday.
