Emilia Clark Demands No More Nudity On 'Game of Thrones'

Emilia Clark, known as Daenerys Targaryen on "Game of Thrones," has recently slammed the sex scenes on the show.
As fans may recall, Clark's character, Daenerys Targaryen, has acted numerous explicit scenes and has done tons of nudity for the show.
"Sex scenes should be more subtle," the 28-year-old told the Daily Mail. "'I'm British, so I cringe at that sort of thing anyway - I can't stand it." she further added.
Clarke, a daughter of a businessman from Berkshire, has been on the show naked for quite a lot. Apart from having on-screen sex, she has also been breastfeeding dragons on the show.
Clark stated, "I don't want to have sex thrown in my face and I've always thought the suggestion is so much more titillating than the act itself."
She further said, "Most sex scenes you see in films or on TV are gratuitous and they're usually just to attract an audience. On screen, the subtler the better."
The 28 year old actress has told "Game of Thrones" showrunners that she didn't want to take her clothes off on camera anymore. And that was two years ago, the Sky News has learned.
And according to co-star Oona Chaplin, who plays Talisa Stark, Clark said that she "want to be known for my acting, not my breasts."
As per Winter is Coming, the show "Game of Thrones" is known not only for its excessive nudity and sex scenes, but also for its violent scenes.
Some may argue that Daenerys Targaryen's nudity isn't exactly "gratuitous," but since Clarke has demanded for less nudity on the show, it's now obvious that the past two seasons featured less graphic scenes for the actress.
Nevertheless, even without Emilia Clarke's breasts gracing the small screen, "Game of Thrones" continues to be one of the top shows on television today.
