Vladimir Putin just made a big move in an effort to eliminate the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

As reported by The Washington Times, the president of Russia has started to directly intervene in the alarming Syrian Crisis.

Putin has reportedly set up an air base and sent countless tanks, artillery and even jet fighters to Syria. This bold move made by Putin was seen as a direct contrast to United States President Barack Obama.

Obama's move in Syria is only known as an air campaign, but other than that, the president of the United States has little military action in the country.

According to an article on The Daily Mail, Putin's move is essentially needed to effectively end ISIS' reign of terror.

Although the Russian president is accused of annexing Crimea, destabilizing Ukraine and allegedly stashing billions in foreign banks, Putin's intervention on the Syrian conflict is badly needed.

In relation to this latest move from Putin, the United States of America was reportedly now ready to accept Russia's "military-to-military" talk's offer as Russian soliders lengthened their runways for war jets, ships were reinforced with heavy weaponry. They were ready to build their Syrian presence.

A U.S general admits to the Congress in Washington that the country's strategy in Syria is in "near collapse." Meaning, the $500 million U.S training program for rebels, intended to target ISIS and other jihadist groups, has utterly failed.

As reported by Reuters, Putin's approach of willingness to be brutal was seen by him and majority of the Russians, which will be effective against the Islamic State.

According to Reuters, Russia is worried that the Islamic Estate might reignite the conflicts in the Caucuses, which was stopped more than a decade ago.

The latest move from Putin is also compared to how Stalin helped end the Nazis in World War II. Maybe this time, Putin can do the same with the ISIS.
