"The Incredibles 2" may not have an official release date yet, but director Brad Bird has recently confirmed that the script is already three-fourths in progress, Venture Capital Post learned through Cinemablend.

The original centers on family dynamics and had this spy movie vibe, according to Collider. However, the plot of the sequel remains under the wraps, and many fans are now getting curious on how the story will go for "The Incredibles 2."

It's been ten years since the original was released, but the director kept his schedule booked. Here are the films that kept Bird busy during the 10-year hiatus of his superhero animated film.

1. "Jack-Jack Attack"

Bird, following the success of "The Incredibles," directed this short video featuring the youngest of the Parrs', Jack-Jack.

They thought all the while he was normal, unlike his dad, Bob Parr a.k.a Mr. Incredible, who has super strength, or his mom Helen Parr a.k.a. Elastigirl, who has the power of flexibility. Nor his siblings, Dash Parr, who has super speed and his sister Violet, who can disappear.

Little Jack-Jack showed his true potential when an outsider was hired to watch over him. The film was released on March 15, 2005, as per the International Movie Database.

2. "Ratatouille"

This animated film was released on June 29, 2007. The story centers on the allegiance formed by Remy, a rat dreaming to become a great French chef, with a young kitchen staff working at a famous restaurant.

Their unusual relationship and Remy's passion for cooking turned the culinary world of Paris upside down.

3. "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol"

"The Incredibles 2" director also helmed the fourth installment of the "Mission Impossible" series, starring Tom Cruise, who played Ethan Hunt. Hunt and his new team went on a mission to clear their organization's name after it was implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin.

The movie was released on Dec. 21, 2011.

4. "Tomorrowland"

Starring George Clooney, this futuristic action film was released on May 22, 2015. The story is about a teen crossing paths with a former genius inventor, and as if bounded by destiny, the two went on a mission to unravel the secrets of a place that only existed in their collective memory.
