"Destiny: The Taken King," still fresh after a couple of weeks since its release, is still making noise.
As reported by the Lazy Gamer, "Destiny's" launch in September 2014 generated one of the most polarizing games ever -- either you love it or you hate it. Some call it unfinished, resulting in its creator, Bungie, improving the game. Enter "Destiny: The Taken King."
"The Taken King" features a sleek and more user-friendly interface and the option to carry more bounties around you. Apart from that, a revamped light system and an exotic weapon blueprint.
The changes are subtle according to the report but it's there. And according to a review by IGN, the game does not make sense; however, it is fun.
"Destiny: The Taken King" is the kind of game that can be a tad arduous and full of grind but after a while, it can really get you hooked, finding yourself already having fun.
As reported by Kotaku, "The Taken King's" director, Luke Smith dropped by for an interview to expound on "Destiny's" latest DLC. Smith said that he "hope this year is with The Taken King we've shed a little light on the potential of a game in the Destiny universe."
And further added that, "The Taken King was in development for longer than people think-it actually started months before the first game. Even before vanilla Destiny came out."
Smith also said that they are constantly looking for ways to make "Destiny's" story better and its missions improved. As for the game's flaws, the director admitted that the original leveling system was indeed flawed and was quoted, "When that went out the door, we were not thrilled with it."
As far as the critics and fans are concerned, "Destiny: The Taken King" is what the original game is supposed to be, and the fun part is, it keeps getting better and better.
