iPhone 7 already? Apple’s all new iPhones — the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus — have just started to roll in the market and the rumor mill is already prevalent of specifications and features reports of the upcoming iPhone 7. Whether these rumors will be realized when Apple introduces the 2016 iPhone remains to be seen, but fans are already enjoying what these rumors have churned so far.

According to Digital Spy, perhaps the main reason consumers are longing to know what the iPhone 7 has to offer is that the iPhone 6S lacked the things most Apple fans were craving for following the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S Plus last year — a faster smartphone that sports a new design.

Basing the expected release of the iPhone 7 off the previous releases of the Cupertino-headquartered tech giant, it's a no-brainer that the market will formally see the unveiling of the new iPhone come Sept. 2016. Such release is 12 months from now and it is too long for consumers who are always in the lookout for new high-end smartphones. For example, there's the Samsung Galaxy S7 which is going to be released way ahead of Apple's iPhone 7 and could tempt some Apple fans along the way.

However, the waiting time could be just enough for Apple to bring in a new breed of iPhones into the smartphone market. International Business Times noted that Apple has a "big plan" for the iPhone 7, and it's way bigger than what we had in the iPhone 6.

According to several rumors, the iPhone 7 would be really thin that it is comparable to the thinness of the iPad Air 2 and the iPod Touch, perhaps somewhere between 6.0 and 6.5 mm.

While the iPhone 6S is powered by the powerful A9 chip, tipsters are claiming that Apple has placed orders for A10 chips which the company will be manufacturing along with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company.

It's not clear however if the iPhone 7 will be rocking a bigger footprint, but word has it that Apple is pushing for more top-notched pixel resolutions just like what its rivals in the market are already sporting.

Then, there is the rumored D jack technology that will shake-up the headphone market. PC Advisor has learned that Apple is going for a different headphone jack, one that is really slim other headphone jacks in the market would be considered passé.

Finally, there are also claims stating that the iPhone 7 could be built to be really durable that it could be used underwater. This waterproof feature could all the more increase the target market of the smartphone given that other companies have already been offering waterproof smartphones for some time now.
