Apple iPad Mini 4: Small Tablet That Packs A Punch — Battery Life, Release Date, Price & Review

The Apple iPad Mini 4 was barely mentioned, let alone explained at Apple's event this month. This led to many tech critics speculating if Apple isn't proud of their new iPad mini.
After a rather underwhelming Apple iPad Mini 3, the latest iPad mini is back to give you the compact tablet you deserve.
As reported by The Verge, the Apple iPad Mini 4 improved almost every aspect of its predecessor. Apple's SVP of marketing even made a bold claim about the new iPad Mini and said, "We've taken the power and performance of iPad Air 2 and built it into an even smaller mini enclosure."
Similar to the iPad Air 2, the iPad Mini 4 is slimmer and lighter than the previous version. Investor Place has learned that the new iPad mini is now equipped with an A8 processor, giving it 30 percent more processing power. As for the graphics, it also boasts a 60 percent increase compared to the iPad Mini 3.
The screen of the new Apple iPad Mini 4 just screams premium. The new "Mini" now has the same laminated screen and anti-reflective coating used in the iPad Air.
Taking pictures may not be the main feature of the iPad Mini but nonetheless, the iSight camera now has a bigger and more advanced 8 megapixel sensor.
The battery life is also nothing to sneeze at, Engadget reported. The Apple iPad Mini 4 still lasted a respectable 13 hours and 4 minutes of continues use, before needing to be charged.
The latest compact premium tablet from Apple may not be quite the iPad Pro, but if you want overall good performance minus the bulk and weight of its big brothers, consider the iPad Mini 4 your best choice in the mini tablet segment.
The Apple iPad Mini 4 has a starting price of $399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only model and is now available at the Apple Store.
