The Adidas Stan Smith, arguably one of the most iconic sneakers ever, is getting a luxurious upgrade.
It's as if the Adidas Stan Smith can't get anymore classy, Adidas then decided to use Chicago's world-renowned leather to the legendary pair.
Over the recent years, the Adidas Stan Smith can be frequently seen on the feet of designers, celebrities and fashionistas alike. Featuring an elegant yet minimalist design, it's not hard to understand why the Adidas Stan Smith has been the casual sneaker of choice of fashion enthusiasts.
As reported by the Boom Box, the Adidas Stan Smith is one of those rare models that has fully transcended its purpose as the shoe started as a tennis shoe. Nowadays, it's mostly worn on the streets rather than tennis courts.
And as a fitting tribute, it is now decked with Horween leather making it simply perfect. Featuring a brown tanned leather, this pair can go well even with a finely tailored suit.
According to a related report by Sneaker News, this premium Stan Smith will be available in two models; a low-top and a mid-top. As for the shoe's details, the Stan Smith's logo on the tongue is now given an embossed styling, while a gold Adidas "trefoil" logo is found on each heel.
A sneaker this premium might get people thinking that it's going to be very expensive but according to Complex, that is not the case.
Even though they dubbed this as the "most premium Adidas Stan Smith" ever, it's far from being the most expensive. Clocking in at just $150 for the low top model and $160 for the mid, it's actually quite cheaper than the Adidas Stan Smith "Raf Simons" that costs about $455.
And if you're now itching to get a pair of these fancy sneakers, you have to wait for a while as it won't drop until Oct. 9.
