Kanye West surprised "American Idol" with a surprise "audition" on the popular singing competition show.

The judges were stunned as West did an a capella rendition of his famous hit, "Gold Digger" and even made the judge, Jennifer Lopez, dance as the rapper sings the line, "My psychic told me she have an ass like Serena Trina, Jennifer Lopez."

As reported by People, West dropped by last Saturday at the show's audition sessions in San Francisco. A photo of the 38 year old rapper about to give a high-five to his wife Kim Kardashian, was then posted by "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest and captioned it "Look Who's' Going To Hollywood!" after West's successful audition.

Kim, always supportive of her husband, took to Instagram and posted a screenshot of Kanye's audition, Entertainment Weekly has learned.

According to News, the judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban could not believe their eyes as the rapper performed right in front of them.

The "audition" is obviously done in good fun and West, of course, has really no serious intention of joining the 15th and final season of "American Idol." However, it seems that he is serious about his intention of running for president in the 2020 elections.

Incumbent/outgoing U.S president Barack Obama was kind enough to offer the aspiring candidate some advice and said, "You've got to deal with strange characters who behave as if they are on a reality TV show."

The President of The United States added, "Do you really think that this country is going to elect a black guy from the south side of Chicago with a funny name to be president of the United States? That is crazy," which the people can understand as a self-referring joke.
