"Batman: Arkham Knight" fans are aware that the New Game Plus places the game's mode in more difficult level than hard — "Knightmare" difficulty.
A 41-minute sample gameplay footage entitled "Batman: Arkham Knight — New Game Plus — Chapter 08" was uploaded by Batman Arkham Knight revealed the kind of difficulty the players would be facing if they unlock this mode. The uploader made it clear that the YouTube channel is not affiliated with the developer or publisher of the game.
"Batman: Arkham Knight" New Game Plus will let players deal with stronger, faster and more resistant enemies. What makes it even more challenging is, all throughout the player will not be seeing the counter icons when the enemy attacks.
To unlock this mode, player must complete the main story first. The video was recorded on PlayStation 4.
In another news, despite the controversy that came with the PC version's launch, which forced Warner Bros. to pull the game from the market, "Batman: Arkham Knight" has reportedly sold five million units around the globe, GameSpot has learned via The Wall Street Journal.
It isn't only Rocksteady's game that surpassed the five million sales worldwide. IGN additionally learned that NetherRealm's "Mortal Kombat X," which is also published by Warner Bros., had the same glorious sales achievement.
A major patch was released to remedy the problem a few weeks back, and though it reportedly made some enhancements on the game's performance, the team confirmed earlier this month that they are still working on some additional updates.
In a blog post at Steam, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment stated that the updates are expected to be ready by the end of October. During the said time, the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight" will become available for purchase.
Some gamers were pleased about the news, while there were others who became irate. Nonetheless, the company thanked the gamers for the patience and support, and assured them that an update will be provided to everyone as soon as it goes live.
