“South Park” pulled a no-show last week to the disappointment of its millions of fans. Today, Comedy Central’s famous cartoon is going to redeem itself by finally airing season 19 episode 4.
Last week, "South Park" Season 19 episode 4 did not air because as previously reported Comedy Central wanted the Oct. 5-9 week a "dark week" in which they do not air a new episode.
This week, fans can now rejoice as the long-running cartoon series is finally airing the all-new episode entitled "You're Not Yelping."
Tonight's show is obviously going to feature popular review site and app Yelp and Cartman will be the one to do the reviews as the city continues to move forward with its gentrification.
South Park Studios released a teaser clip via YouTube, and it seems that the episode will be skewering Yelpers everywhere.
In the clip, Cartman tells the Mexican restaurant owner: "I was thinking of giving this place five stars."
When the owner asks, Really?" Cartman responds: "I'm kind'a choosing between five stars and one star. I mean as food this is OK, but as free food it would be pretty amazing."
Meanwhile, in another clip released on South Park Studios site, Cartman could be seen demanding for more food from the owner and reminding the latter that he is a Yelp reviewer.
"Oh thank you. And did I mention I am a food critic for Yelp?" as quoted by Eater.
"South Park" Season 19 episode 4's synopsis reads: "There's a new kid in school and his parents have opened a restaurant in the recently gentrified part of town. Cartman now considers himself the top online restaurant reviewer in South Park," as er A.V. Club.
Fans are glad that the show is back on its usual time slot this Wednesday night. And another thing that fans should be happy about is the fact that the new "South Park" video game is already in the works.
The new installment entitled "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" has the same core as "South Park: The Stick of Truth" but it will basically center on the superhero gang Coon and Friends, reported iDigitalTimes.
