"Arrow" Season 4 episode 4 is on its way, but spoilers for episode five have already been revealed. "Haunted" will bring a guest cast everybody is looking forward to see — John Constantine.
Fortunately, The CW already released the synopsis of the upcoming Nov. 4 episode. The synopsis stated that Oliver Queen, played by Stephen Amell, had to ask a favor from Constantine, played by Matt Ryan when things turned worse with Sara, played by Caity Lotz, Den of Geek reported.
Constantine is an old friend of Oliver Queen who deals with the supernatural. Before "Arrow" Season 4 episode 4 hits your TV screens, here are the five things you should know about Matt Ryan.
1. He is British.
Ryan was born on April 11, 1981 in Swansea, Wales, according to IMDb. His father, Steve, was a postman who later on became a record producer. His mom was a dance teacher.
2. He does theater.
Ryan finished a BTEC Performing Arts course in Gorseinon College. In 2003, he graduated from the Bristol Old Vic, and in 2004, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company.
He was also part of the musical "Les Miserables," a musical produced by London West End, FamousBirthdays.com has learned.
3. He likes video games.
He gets emulous whenever he is playing "FIFA," but admits having a hard time with "Call of Duty."
"The thing is with Call of Duty, I don't have enough time to become so good at it, so if I go and play online, I'm just getting my ass kicked by 12-year-old kids," he told Entertainment Weekly during an interview.
Not only does he like video games, Ryan also lent his voice in Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" as Edward Kenway.
4. His favorite TV show is...
"Game of Thrones." He explained during the same interview with EW that HBO's series only had ten episodes and every time it finishes he would ask when the next one will come out.
Ryan also revealed that when he was a child, he used to watch the movies of Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
5. His previous TV appearances before "Arrow" are...
"The Tudors," "Torchwood" and "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour."
In 2014, Ryan landed the lead role in NBC's "Constantine." The show ran for 13 episodes. Unfortunately, in early 2015, the series producer confirmed that the network did not renew the contract for season two.
"Arrow" season 4 airs every Wednesday at 8 p.m. on The CW.
