Who is that creepy girl?
The "X-Files" teaser video debuted a new face, according to Zap2It.
After special agents Dana Scully, played by Gillian Anderson, and Fox Mulder, David Duchovny, showed their badges, there was a split-second scene — at 0:16 mark — where it showed a little girl sitting inside a room, combing her hair filled with bows and ribbons.
Yes, at first glance, she seems like a normal little girl, but if you hit on replay, you will see that she has a bulging forehead and weird, creepy eyes. Many got curious on who she — probably it — is and what role will she play in the entire series.
Whether this being is an alien or a human remains to be seen.
"What if our work, the X-Files, everything we've been led to believe in is a lie?"
In the promo video, Mulder can be heard asking this question. As per the report of Entertainment Weekly, this may have just hinted the biggest conspiracy yet in the show.
Another secondary question which was noted in the report of Outer Places was if the show is retconning, and if they are explaining that aliens are hoax propagated by the government.
That "X-Files" clip may only be 30 seconds short, but it surely got its audience thinking. What's going to happen in the show revival may or may not change the course of the entire series.
We'll just have to wait and find out.
"X-Files," the six-episode mini-series, premieres on Jan. 24, 2016 on Fox, after the NFC Championship Game, CarterMatt reported.
