"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," the fourth installment of the Uncharted series, made its appearance at the Paris Games Week and unveiled exciting, new things, which will hype the game's fans.

1. "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" multiplayer trailer

The highly cinematic "Uncharted 4" footage already went live, and to spice up the game, Naughty Dog included some supernatural elements, according to Kotaku.

It may not be that obvious at first, but on the 1:35 mark, one female character suddenly went on fire and gained super speed. Other than the grappling hook and being allowed to use mystical totems to unlock those supernatural abilities, players can also summon aids, which includes medics and snipers.

2. "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" multiplayer to incorporate microtransactions

Robert Cogburn, the game's lead multiplayer designer, recently confirmed that the game will include microtransactions, enabling the players to purchase weapons, tools and upgrades. However, the developers said that the items can also be earned via in-game currency, Game Spot reported.

"Microtransactions will be available at launch, but we'll have no gameplay items that will be gated through microtransactions," Cogburn said when he was asked by the same gaming site if it will eventually adopt microtransactions, during the Paris Games Week.

During the interview, he was also asked about the co-op, but he said it will be dealt with later.

3. "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" multiplayer mode to run at 60 frames-per-second

Contrary to the single player's 30 frames-per-second, it has been confirmed that the multiplayer mode will run at 60 fps, as per the report of Metro. However, its resolution will drop to 900p to maintain the smooth gaming experience.

The game's campaign mode will reportedly have a 1080p.

Meanwhile, players who purchased the "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection," released on Oct. 7, will have the access to "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" multiplayer beta, which will run on Dec. 4-13, Entertainment Weekly learned.

The game has been reported to be the last installment of Naughty Dog's Uncharted series. Cogburn said that most likely, it would be, but immediately added the famous hanging statement — "Who knows?"

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was originally set for a 2015 release, but it was reportedly moved on a later date to allow more time for the development of the game.

The release date of the "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception" sequel is now set on March 18, 2016 for Sony's PS4.
