Abby Lee Miller still got the chance to greet everyone over the Halloween weekend before she pleaded not guilty in front of a court on Monday. Meanwhile, the air date of "Dance Moms" Season 6 continues to be shrouded in mystery.
On Sunday, Miller took to Twitter to greet everyone a belated Halloween. She wrote: "Happy belated #Halloween everyone! Hope it was safe and spooky!"
The day after, Abby Lee went to the arraignment over her bankruptcy case wherein she maintained her innocence by pleading not guilty to bankruptcy fraud, as per People.
As per media coverage, the 50-year-old "Dance Moms" star appeared in front of a Pittsburgh federal court to insist her innocence.
Following her plea, she posted a $10,000 bond, but she is facing up to five years behind bars in addition to the $250,000 fine for each count she has been convicted of. In total, she has 20 counts against her, U.S. Attorney David Hickton said in a statement, according to Reuters.
Her case sprang from her bankruptcy filing in late 2010 when she reorganized her studio. She was then believed to have concealed the income she earned in 2012 and 2013 by depositing them in two undisclosed bank accounts. The embattled Lifetime star has denied this since then.
Last month, she was charged and was sent a summons to make an appearance in the federal court this Monday. When she pleaded not guilty, she also declined to make comments on the allegations against her, as reported by Huffington Post.
Despite her situation, Abby Lee Miller managed to smile and even plug her show when she exited the courthouse. "I didn't have my hair done... Season 6 jackets are on sale on the website Wednesday," she was quoted as saying by reporters.
Meanwhile, "Dance Moms" Season 6 continues to be shrouded in mystery since its air date has not been officially released as of late. On the Facebook page of the show, many fans have been leaving messages, asking about the return of the reality series.
However, the admin of the page only responded: "Get excited because #DanceMoms will be back before you know it." This message along with the show's posts about its filming only confirm that Season 6 is already underway.
Another thing, contrary to rumors claiming that Maddie Ziegler is going to miss the new season of "Dance Moms," Abby Lee herself gave the confirmation that Sia's muse is still part of the series when she took to Instagram to share a snap of Ziegler amid the dance competition where her dance company competed, reported Fashion & Style.
The snap shows Ziegler clad in a gold outfit standing in front of a poster for Abby Lee's Dance Company. It was captioned: "My 007 Bond Girl @ MaddieZiegler was Exquisit again!!!! #ALDC #ALDCLA #ALDCAlways #DanceMoms #MaddieZiegler."
The post comes after Ziegler expressed her uncertainty to appear on the Lifetime series when she was interviewed by MTV Australia in June.
"We just finished season five and I'm not sure what's going to happen for season six. I don't know if I'm going to do it or not, so it just depends," Ziegler said at the time.
