The iOS 10 is already anticipated this early, though the iOS 9 has barely been on the masses' iPhones and iPads.

According to PC Advisor, the iOS 10 is expected to be unveiled in about six months, which leads to many speculations if this latest operating system update from Apple would be its biggest since the iOS 7.

As reported, although an exact release date has yet to be announced by Apple or other popular tech sites, PC Advisor projected that based on the American tech company's history, we can start expecting it to be unveiled on June 2016.

Of course, the announcement would coincide when Apple hosts its annual Worldwide Developers Conference event in San Francisco. Shortly after, the developers who attended that event will be able to download the Apple iOS 10 and start testing it with their apps, which will ensure if it works just fine.

Techno Buffalo reported that Apple is already testing its next-generation OS, including the new OS X 10.12 code named "Fuji."

But if you're not a developer, you have to wait a little longer because usually, it's not until autumn that the new iOS versions become available for the public, which will mean that the new iPhone is already underway.

But of course, what's the wait without knowing what it can do? Fortunately, there's already quite a few rumors on what the iOS 10 can do. One is the new "Rootless" security system that will make the operating system, and as an extension, the device, impossible to jailbreak.

It is also rumored to include a new application called "Home" that will incorporate the work Apple has been doing on Homekit. This will allow the user to control all of their "smart" home appliances in just one central hub.

Furthermore, Apple is also working on an "iCloud Voicemail" that will take advantage of Siri's capabilities to talk to your callers and even transcribe voicemail into texts.

Although those rumored features are nice, a report from Alphr noted some of the additions users hope to be added on the latest iOS.

Among them is a more proactive Siri. Even though Siri is already a revolutionary addition to the iPhone since the 4S, users still find its capabilities to be limited, which is why users are hoping for features like suggesting and send responses, based on the contents of an email.

The iOS 10 may be far away, but it's already the most anticipated product from Apple. With amazing features rumored to be coming, the future seems bright and what a time to be alive.
